Souvenir gifts for the whole family

In the past, the Château’s Orangery was used as a shelter for fragile trees (such as orange trees) during the winter.

Today, it is home to the shop, which offers souvenirs for all ages and all tastes!

The Orangerie shop reflects the spirit of the place: authentic, family-friendly, with a focus on local produce.

• For readers: tourist guides, art and history books, old-fashioned recipe books, etc.
• For youngsters: knight and princess figurines, creative notebooks, fancy dress, etc.
• For gourmets: honey, pears, Bourgueil and St Nicolas de Bourgueil AOC wines, etc.

And of course, a collection of objects bearing the image of the château, to bring a little of Gizeux home with you! (postcards, key rings, pencils, bags, etc.)

The shop is open to the public from 1 April to 6 November 2022 from 11:00 AM.

Tea room

To give you the chance to enjoy the château a little longer, a tea room has been set up in and outside the Orangerie.

While the enthusiastic ones can have a go at the large wooden games available on the Great Terrace, those who want to take a break can enjoy a quiet and warm moment over a snack (cold drinks, hot drinks, sweet or savoury snacks).

The tables located outside, in a partly shaded area, will give you the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding nature, while those located inside will shelter you on days when the weather is less favourable.
