A promenade brought back to life

Badly damaged by the storm in June 2021, the grove has been pampered in recent years and is now in good health. It is home to many species of trees, plants, insects, birds and small animals that children love to observe.

Today, it is still laid out according to the Napoleonic cadastral plan, and is flanked by the castle moat.

As you stroll through its alleys, it’s easy for young and old alike to imagine themselves as the inhabitants of days gone by, and dream of great adventures!

Woodlands alive and well!

As well as being a charming and pleasant place to stroll in any season, the grove hosts various activities …

For several years now, it has been the setting for the treasure hunt for our young visitors.

And since 2022, you can even stay overnight! A tree house has been set up here, as part of our bed and breakfast business, offering unusual accommodation never before available in Touraine Angevine.
