The costumed tour
Children will love dressing up and going back in time to the age of knights and princesses!
Crossing the boundaries of time…
Imagine the Château de Gizeux in the Middle Ages or the Renaissance… It’s not easy, especially when you’re aged between 4 and 12!
To help your children discover the history of the castle, we’ll try to bring the past to life. Disguises are available so that your children can step into the shoes of the princesses and knights who once lived here.
Accompanied by a dedicated guide, children can discover the history of the site with even greater interest. They learn about ancient customs and traditions, relive the discovery of the Galerie François The 1st, and imagine themselves cooking in the old kitchen… In the meantime, parents can follow the regular historical tour, which starts a few minutes after the children’s visit.
Practical information
This tour takes place every day at 4.30pm during the french school holidays (Easter, summer and All Saints’ Day, all zones).
Duration: 1 hour
Price: included in children’s admission (Children’s admission: €6.00)
